KORMAN FAMILY PARK

Public BBQ

Korman Family Park sits prettily beside the water, offering that perfect blend of barbecue facilities and waterside tranquillity that makes for a proper family day out. The fishing pier extends invitingly into the water, though the constant parade of passing boats seems to have made the local bream rather skittish - small catches appear to be the norm rather than disappointment. The park's recent upgrades have enhanced its natural appeal, with decent street parking available and clean public toilets on hand. The barbecue facilities are well-positioned for watching the world drift by, while a small private island provides sanctuary for the resident ibis population. It's the sort of place where groups of hopeful anglers gather with quiet determination, even if the fish prove more elusive than expected. A genuinely peaceful spot for those seeking waterside relaxation.
